SHOW WARNINGS
This page is here to provide more information around certain triggers in a show, to anyone who needs it. I was fed up of spending a whole show anxious of when a loud noise would happen at the mere sight of a gun! I know I'm not alone in this, and it can be hard to find this kind of information online, so I decided to build what could become a central place for theatre goers to check prior to a show what they can expect.
You can either scroll down to find your show or select it from the drop down. There is also the option to filter by warning type.
This web page is reliant on information being provided by you, so if you see a show and would like to contribute, then please use the form at the bottom of the page to send in the show information. The majority of the "General Warnings" completed below are what has been retrieved from theatre websites. Some shows I've not been able to find out information at all, which I'm not sure if its because there are no effects or its just not online! Once I know for sure a show is free of triggers, I will mark it as safe.
If you have any feedback then please also let me know :)
PLEASE NOTE - Some of the details below contain spoilers for the show.

General Warning - Haze, Domestic Violence, Abuse, Depression, Suicidal/Intrusive thoughts, Anxiety, Adultery
the main character is in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship and that is visually depicted on stage which i can imagine could be stressful for some people to see. The characters (mostly the main character, but others too) say things that insinuate depressive and intrusive thoughts, feelings of ‘wishing they didn’t exist’ etc. There is mention of anxiety attacks in there though this is meant to be comedic. The main characters storyline is heavily focused on her pregnancy and the troubles she is having with it, insinuating that she is suffering from antenatal depression. An older character does die toward the end, though a small mention it has been known to upset people. Lastly, there is a loud bang when a character drops a tray on the floor in the first scene of Act 2.
